Let the many faces of WATER unite us!
Early in 2010 Agnita (RO) and Oosterbeek (NL) have started working in a youth exchange based on water themes.
"Let the many faces of WATER unite us!" is the project that officially started in May 2010, but the first activities have been developed since February. During the preparation meetings held in Agnita and Oosterbeek, but also the visit that two of the Romanian participants have made in Holland, details of the two weeks have been set.
Between February and June, the leaders in Romania have had the extra job of recruiting potential participants and chosing from them the best ones. Also a contest to develop a logo for the exchange has been made and from the proposals sent by the Dutch and Romanians, by vote the logo has been chosed.
Activities in Oosterbeek and suroundings have included: water games, movies related to water theme, presentations about the water systems, Zoo visit, Rihn damn visit, boatbuilding contest, media/video day, 3 days in Vlieland Island and evaluations made by both participants and leaders.
